Summer noon in Valday. Green meadows are flooded with sun. The wooden houses of the Russian village snugly settled in the shade of branchy trees. At the foot of the hill, the dark waters of the fast river Gremyachaya. Around the village there are dense forests with centuries-old firs and branchy birches.
About artist:
Alexander Alexandrovsky was born in 1951 in Pushkin, the suburb of Leningrad, USSR (presently Saint Petersburg, Russia). The artist has been a member of the Russian Union of Artists since 1996. He was a student of the national artist of Russia V. Reikhet and the national artist of USSR, professor B. Ugarov. Back to the soviet times, he was also a shock worker of Communist labour.
